Listen to Your Heart is a pop rock song by Swedish pop duo Roxette, taken from their 1988 second studio album, Look Sharp!

Per Gessle and Mats Persson wrote the song, while Clarence Öfwerman produced.

EMI Records released the track as the second single from the album in Sweden on September 27, 1988.

The song was indeed a commercial success, reaching the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 and Number 6 in the UK. Its success in the UK is attributed to the success of its predecessor, It Must Have Been Love.

Canadian and Polish charts also saw the song dominating for weeks.

In addition, the single has received a gold certification in both Australia and Sweden.

Tidbit: This track was the first song to reach Number 1 in the US without a commercially-released 7″ single.
