Your Song is a song originally composed and recorded by English musician Elton John, for his 1970 self-titled second studio album.

In 2010, English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding recorded and released her pop version for the reissue of her debut studio album, Bright Lights.

Mumford & Sons’ Ben Lovett produced the song.

Her version was released digitally on 12 November 2010 as the re-release’s lead single and went ahead to reach a peak position of Number 2 on the UK Singles chart.

However, the single topped the UK Singles Download chart, whilst reaching Number 4 in Austria and Number 5 in Ireland.

It has also been certified platinum in the UK and Norway.

There is also an infamous remix to the song, titled Your Song Remix (Blackmill Dubstep).
