Hey Ya! is a hip hop soul funk song written and produced by OutKast member André 3000, for his 2003 album The Love Below, which is part of their double album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.

LaFace Records released the track as one of the album’s two lead singles on September 9, 2003, and it garnered critical acclaim from contemporary music critics.

The single topped the Billboard Hot 100, UK R&B charts and charts in Norway, Canada, Sweden and Australia.

At the 46th Grammy Awards, Hey Ya! won the award for Best Urban/Alternative Performance. Billboard also named it the 20th most successful song of the 2000s decade in the US.

In addition, the single has been certified 2x platinum in Australia and single platinum in almost every other country.
