Hate Me Now is the second and final single by rapper Nas which features Puff Daddy, from Nas‘ third (3rd) studio album I Am… released in April 1999.
The song’s backbeat is inspired by, and contains some samples from, Carl Orff‘s Carmina Burana.
Hate Me Now was ranked 119 on XXL‘s best songs of the 1990s. The track was initially produced for Foxy Brown but she didn’t like it. Nas felt it fit with his album so he took it.
