Let Me Love You is an R&B song by American singer Mario, from his 2004 second studio album, Turning Point.
Ne-Yo wrote the song while Scott Storch handled the production, so it’s no surprise the track turned out positively.
After its release on November 16, 2004, the single topped the US Billboard Hot 100, UK R&B charts and charts in New Zealand, Germany and Netherlands.
It also entered the top ten in 11 other countries including Australia, Italy and Denmark; and went on to become the eighth most successful single of the decade.
The official remix of the song, also produced by Storch, features rappers Jadakiss and T.I. There’s also a popular Reggaeton Remix.
Tidbit: In 2008, Billboard placed the song at number 45 on its All-Time Top 100 Hot 100 singles during the first 50 years of the chart.
