Stronger is an electronica hip hop song by American rapper Kanye West, from his 2007 third studio album, Graduation. It was written by Kanye West, Daft Punk and Edwin Birdsong; and produced by West and Mike Dean.
On July 31, 2007, Def Jam Recordings released the track as the second single from the album. In the song, West employs a vocoder-enhanced vocal sample of Daft Punk’s song Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.
The single was ultimately a commercial success, topping the US Billboard Hot 100, UK Singles chart and the charts in Canada and New Zealand. It also entered the top ten in 7 other countries.
Speaking of certification, the song has earned a 7x platinum in its native United States, 4x platinum in Australia and single platinum in various countries.
